Keyword ranking data for one of our clients showed great improvement in appearing in search where they once had no presence at all. The keywords where the client ranked on the first page of search results increased 338 percent.
Taking a year-over-year look at the client’s organic traffic for January 2019 through June 2019, we have seen a 26 percent increase in traffic coming from search engines. The traffic coming from organic search is also the best performing out of all channels with the lowest bounce rate, highest pages per session, most conversions or leads and the highest average session duration.
Again, perhaps most importantly, organic search traffic has the highest conversion rate for equipment inquiry goal conversions — that means forms and phone calls to the client, which turn into leads.
Another client began SEO with us in December of 2018. Since then, we’ve increased their already strong foundation and organic traffic has shown great improvement year-over-year.
Keyword ranking data for the client indicated they had a strong presence, but there was room for improvement. Over time, we have seen a 13 percent increase in keyword ranking on the first page of search results and a 50 percent reduction in keywords where the client didn’t rank in the top 100 search results.
Year-over-year, there has been a 16 percent increase in organic traffic coming from our work.
The client’s organic traffic is also the best performing out of all channels with the lowest bounce rate, highest pages per session and highest average session duration. Organic traffic also has the highest conversion rate for phone call leads, which is perhaps the most important thing to note inside of SEO.
Think of when you are using a search engine and want an answer quick and fast, you are going to look at the top results that were provided. You have the paid results and below that, you have the organic. The top three results in organic are going to be clicked on 90 percent of the time.
