Privacy is a very popular word in the digital space these days due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
A lot of people are going to be watching California in 2020 because of the CCPA, a bill intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for the state’s residents. Due to election season, we might not see any movement in state legislation in 2020 for the exact same bill as California’s law.
