Rhea Lana’s, the nation’s leading consignment event venue headquartered in Arkansas, won the Progress 2020 Website of the Year contest in the “Consumer Goods and Services” category. The international competition honors websites that provide the best user experience and innovation inside the Sitefinity Content Management System (CMS).
When deciding the finalists, Progress factored in a website’s visual design, content, layout and navigation, innovation, complexity and significance. Dozens of websites using the Progress Sitefinity platform were nominated across 13 categories. After an internal jury shortlisted the three best websites per category, voting was opened to the public. Winners were selected based on popular vote and more than 11,000 votes were casted.
Working with Team SI, an award-winning digital marketing agency, Rhea Lana’s launched its Sitefinity website in June 2019 with the goal of increasing its website users and time spent on its site. Since the launch of its website, Rhea Lana’s had an increase in users, sessions and pageviews year-over-year.
“Our company is extremely grateful for the hard work of Team SI as they made our vision come true in the design and usability of our website,” said Rhea Lana Riner, founder and namesake of Rhea Lana’s. “While keeping our company mission and core values in mind, they refreshed the website in a way that better serves families across the nation. We know how busy families are, and our website helps parents quickly find the information they need. It was such an honor to be a category finalist and then to actually win Website of the Year. We are excited about our continued partnership with Team SI as we grow our brand to serve families across the nation.”
With the Sitefinity CMS, Rhea Lana’s has flexibility in updating its robust event calendar and website users have the ability to search and filter its consignment events with ease. The website’s auto-detect location feature instantly shows a user information and upcoming events for the nearest franchise. If the franchise does not have upcoming events, then the next four closest franchises with events are displayed.
The winners receive industry recognition and awareness through Progress and its social media, a physical award and a special digital badge. This marks the fourth year that a Team SI project has been recognized as a finalist in the competition.Read More »
